"Corey"
January 4, 1999 - July 18, 2004 Taken
from us way before his time, Corey was the son of my first home bred
Champion, Taylor. He carried a beautiful head, and had a tail
that never stopped wagging. His favorite challenge was to try to get
his huge Teddy Bear in his crate with him, and he could never understand
why he and the Teddy Bear just couldn't quite make it. And he
never gave up trying.
Thank you, Corey, for your lovely daughter,
Dazzle. She is a replica of you and I hope will carry on your
wonderful traits. Sweet dreams, Corey. |

"Honey"
July 31, 1986 - January 18, 2000
(Lucja's Golden Honey, CDX, TDX)
"Honey" was my first Labrador (second row, second from the left).
Although she was not of breeding quality, she and I learned many things
together. "Honey" earned two obedience titles and two tracking
titles. In addition, she was registered with Therapy Dogs
International, and visited nursing homes and hospitals bringing joy
to others. She also participated in the Scent Hurdle competition
at the Florida State Fair. She loved to swim and retrieve.
She loved to "track" and was a natural. I hope heaven is
filled with a bunch of trails for her to track.

"Bud"
May 6, 1990 - August 12, 2000
Ch Sandledge's Sudden Windfall, CDX, JH, WC
"Bud" gave me everything he had all the time. He
enjoyed everything we did together. He earned two
obedience titles, and a hunting title in addition to being a
conformation Champion and a Therapy Dog. |
|
"Bud" won the Flyball Competition at
the Florida
State Fair three years in a row.
He has several offspring serving as drug dogs
for different law enforcement agencies.
Bud also had a daughter that served on the search and rescue team at
the World Trade Center after the 9/11 tragedy.
I hope there is a flyball box in heaven loaded
with tennis balls for him. |

"Penny"
May 29, 1988 ~ October 27,
2002
Penny was a joy to love and own. She
was my first
Champion and she also earned her CD obedience title. After completing her show
career, she was bred to Ch. Lubberline Jackstay and I kept a black male out of that breeding which I called
Taylor. Taylor became my first
home-bred Champion. That litter also produced Walkabout's French Kisses, UDX, JH.
Penny's
favorite activity was sleeping on the couch, and she thought the CD behind her name
meant best "Couch Dog" in the house.
I will never forget her sweet
melting expression and beautiful eyes.
